Use this web form to assist in the move of the computers for your upcoming relocation. This
simple three-step process will produce a printed report that will contain usage instructions,
a customized IT inventory checklist and a set of "moving tag" numbers for each employee's IT equipment.
This web form will produce a print-ready package containing two pages per employee:
- An IT inventory sheet
This sheet lists the employee's name, phone, current and target location. It also provides a checklist for IT equipment that will be moved. The list includes commonly misplaced items (speaker cables, power strips, etc.) Each IT inventory sheet is assigned a unique 'move tag' number (1, 2, 3....)
- A sheet of numbered tags matching the 'move tag' on the inventory sheet.
Once cut into individual squares, these tags should be taped to the IT equipment to be moved (computer, monitor, printer, etc.) This will uniquely identify IT equipment as belonging to a given employee, reducing the confusion when working with similar-looking equipment.
If additional tags are required, this sheet should be photo-copied. If self-adhesive tags are preferred, this form fits on Avery 8640 single-use and Avery 8642 removable label sheets.
On the following screens, you will be asked to:
- Step 1 of 3: Enter general move data
(Company name, Date of move, # of employees, etc.)
- Step 2 of 3: Enter employee Names and Phone numbers
- Step 3 of 3: Print out and distribute customized report/inventory sheets
